The process as it looks in real life in Dresden: You identify yourself using your eID, are a resident of Dresden, and receive the KommPass with officially verified data.
Resident registration inquiry
A registry extract as a verifiable proof, transmitted via a direct, secure connection between the authority and the wallet. Multiple proofs can be linked together to form a chain.
Book fire pit. No form required.
Name, address, phone number. Every booking form wants the same thing, and every time you type it in again.
Not here. Scan the QR code, share two details, and you're done. The booking confirmation lands directly in your wallet. The campsite only learns what it really needs — and you’re back to what matters after ten seconds.
IDeal|Access - No more keys that can get lost
Sports hall, clubhouse, workshop, office: Wherever many people use the same rooms, keys pass from hand to hand—and eventually disappear. Then the lock has to be changed, and everyone receives new ones.
With IDeal|Access, the door opens for anyone who has valid proof in their wallet: a club membership, a booking for this evening, or a work order as a caretaker. With the help of a clip-on adapter, digital credentials can operate an analog lock. Once the authorization expires, access ceases automatically. No need to collect keys, no need to change locks.

Each group receives its own credential — and with it, exactly the access it is entitled to.

The association provides its members with proof of membership. The door opens during booked hall hours — but not outside of them.

Anyone who books an available indoor court time at short notice will receive the booking in their digital wallet as proof. It is valid exactly for that appointment.
Service Provider
Caretaker, cleaning staff, tradespeople: access for the job, limited to the doors they need. No key handover required the day before.
Employee
Permanent authorization via employee verification. If someone leaves the company, access ends with a single click.
